If its not one thing its another......my BP issues are fine, and now I found out after my pretesting results came back that my blood sugar is SUPER HIGH. I went to my PCP last Tuesday and he put me on 500mg of Metomorphin? or something close to that name.... i take one pill a day. So I had a f/u today with him to check my sugar again... it came down by 70, but not enough. So ive now been instructed to take double up the dose to 1000mg once a day, and will f/u for another check with him on Tuesday morning. If it is not under 200, they said there is a chance they will delay my surgery next thursday
:(
I am so upset .. this sucks
If it came down by 70 on one dose, does that mean it should come down double with 2 doses??
I am freaking out!!!! Is there anything I can do as far as my diet to keep it down?? Im already on a low fat, no meat diet for my pre op. Im eating mainly veggies, and salad, with fat free salad dressing, wheat bread with fat free cream cheese. and some Soups by Healthy choice that the dr said were ok.
Help!!
