Gettng in your Protein

Recommended Posts

I am almost 5 months out and I need new and creative ideas on how to get my Protein in. I find that the last couple of weeks that I am slacking in that department and I am really noticing it. What are your creative ways to get your protein in? (The shakes are a no go right now; can't drink them)

Good Luck because I am 5 3/4 months out and still have to use shakes or bars! My new NUT was talking about wanting to get me away from them so we'll see what her "plan" is! LOL

Bars are good but the only bad thing is that they are high in calories....what kind do you use?

cottage cheese is very high in Protein. there are many ways to eat it.

Some people like it heated with spaghetti sauce on it. they say it says like lasagna. others like to mix it with yorgurt.,

If you're on mushies, you can take chicken breast and after it's cooked, put it in a mini blender and make chicken salad.

Pro pudding you can order from Amazon.com 25 grams of Protein 145 calories and 4 carbs. I got the chocolate and it's really good.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
