I ordered the sample pack from Chike and it arrived the next day. That was a surprise! Anyway, just wondered how it compares with the others, if you like it, etc. I'm on my preop diet and had the orange flavor last night. I thought it tasted great. I did notice, however, that it has lots more ingredients (in the sugar family, although only 4g of sugars) than the powders? utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury, as well as higher calories -- 190.

What about SetPro? I got a couple of their fruity drink mixes. 90 cal, 18g Protein, no sugars. Are they filling? I guess after surgery that might not be such a big issue!

Any thoughts from those of you who have had the surgery? I know tastes change... :-)

Can't really answer your question, but interested in the answers you will get. I ordered the sample of the Chike products, too, and really liked them. Especially the banana. I didn't analyze the ingredients too much since I had seem them suggested on this site. But you are right, maybe they do taste a little TOO good!

You know, I think the carbs are on the high side. I've since heard people mention that their doctor said double digit Protein with single digit carbs. Chike, at least one of the flavors, had 11 grams of carbs. The SetPoint (I misnamed it) is also really good. It's more like an Orange Julius type drink. It only has 3 grams of carbs and mixes with Water. I was thinking i might order some more Chike for a treat of sorts while recovering from surgery. Did the Chike people call you? I thought that was funny, but the lady was super nice. I'm not used to it in the world of online shopping...

Nope, no one called me that I know of. I think I read about the single digit carbs, too. Seems like unjury is pretty popular, maybe I'll break down and spend the $23 or whatever for their sample packets. I think it's like $17.95 plus shipping.

Hello!

I also received the samples from Chike. The banana flavor was so good. A lady named Holly called me from Chike also. I thought that was kinda strange, but she was really sweet.

I don't start my pre-op diet until June 6th so I'm trying all the samples I can before I choose what brand to buy, and I think I may end up buying Chike. I don't mind the carbs too much since I started the couch to 5k program and I burn a lot of carbs off doing that. :)

Haven't heard of SetPoint, will have to google them.

I bought the Protein mixers, not the Meal Replacements, from SetPoint. I have had tropical mixer and orange splash. Both are 90 cal, no fat, 3g carbs, 18g protein. I am using it like a between meals protein boost and its very refreshing and tastes great to me. I think I can use it for my clear liquid diet after I'm sleeved on Thursday because it stays as clear as the Unjury chicken broth does.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
