I was told 2 week clear,2 weeks thick liquids, 2 weeks soft foods and then regular foods... I am doing what my doc said because I too do not want to damage my new sleeve or get a leak... I know it is hard but you have come soo far what is a little longer going to hurt you. I know there are a few people here that has advanced before they were suppose to. I just don't think it is worth rolling the dice...

I was told 1 week clear then this week apple sauce and cottage cheese and yogurt.

I was also told 2 weeks clear liquids, 2 weeks full liquids, 2 weeks mushies, and then slowly add regular foods. I think all doctors differ, though...

im also 2 weeks liquids, 2 weeks pureed foods, 2 weeks mushy then slowly introduce solids.

I think mash potato is a little early at 8 days, unless you make it super runny. Id just wait to have it properly though :)

My doc said pureed bean soup was fine right away, this was really good, also split pea soup... made a little thin without any chunks.
