have you been faithful to your diet.
I was just having a discussion about this today. One of my patients brought me homemade pound cake and I fell totally off of the wagon. I talked with my therapist today that sleeved or not, I have disordered eating. I'm so tired of dieting...I feel like I think about eating 24-7. Sorry, I hijacked your thread, but the answer for me is no.

Sugar and heart palp
So I've started low carb (hx of diabetes) and l like it. However for my bday a coworker made a homemade red velvet cake. I had a normal size piece...my heart started racing and about a half hour later I crashed and had to sleep during lunch. No caffeine that morning. Anyone had this? I think that's my body yelling at me.

Whose fault? The doctor or Patient?
It's an interesting question but go with your gut (pun intended) if you're not at all confident with your surgeon

Boobs?
I'm thinking you might lose some if they're an m. A British show about breasts said that cup size D ( I think it was d) was the equivalent to two 5 lb of sugar. They put small breasted women in this bra and put sticking filled w sugar in them. They complained of back pain and awkward balance. They also had to get used to the looks:) I'm a 36 f and I love the girls.

Does everyone exercise?
I'm not a fan of exercising. Actually, I know this sounds weird but I don't like sweating. So most exercises make me uncomfortable. I can do a mile walk without getting sweaty so thats what I do. Well, that's what I just started.- My Dumping Syndrome horror story (read if you dare)
Oh chica. I'm so sorry about that. I had a similar experience but it wasn't dumping, it was a bug and it's the most horrifying embarrassing thing I've ever gone through. Sending you gastro regularity vibes- Does the sleeve cure your food addiction?
I agree with Cheri. I'm two years out and PROOF that it doesn't touch a true food addiction. Food addiction has nothing to do with hunger or fullness. That's what the sleeve promotes. If you're truely an addict, you'll need extra support. I say this, all in love, because I know, if you're like me, you'll have the sleeve done anyway However....go to groups and talk with people so you know that it's a lifelong struggle. That being said, reading all of this I realize it may be time for therapy again...I too dream about food, smell it, want to taste it and eat around my sleeve. At about 8 months out, your stomach isn't inflammed and has more room. I rarely eat until totally full but eat around the sleeve often.- Beginning Again
I'm with each and every one of yall. I'm going back to the basics....water..but not a half hour before or after food. I am doing HIGH protein but carbs in fruit and veggies. I am slowly exercising again (my nemisis) and I'm finding out my slider foods are not like others. Even though fruit is healthy, it slides right through and I'm hungry soon after. So I'm pairing it with ricotta.- How long before others could eat bread. I am 9 months after surgery and still can't eat any breads etc
bread is okay but is nixed on my lower carb nutritional plan- What did you eat today :) ?
1 cup of coffee Breakfast: Half an apple and 1 tbs peanut butter Lunch: 1.5 cup of low carb lasagne with zucchini as the noodles What I packed for snacks: 1/2 cup of ricotta with splenda and fresh raspberries on top Water Other half of apple with pb chicarrones- coffee drinkers?
I drink coffee (but I didn't have any issues stomach wise) and it usually has protein, creamer and splenda. I do find that it takes me at least 40 minutes to finish it though and that's my first meal until I eat breakfast around 9.- Low carb lasagna
I just made something similar to that above....i didn't let it dry though and that could have led to the more loose texture of mine. It was still delish though! - Does the sleeve cure your food addiction?
