Having surgery on monday and apart from total panic and angst I have today enjoyed my "last supper". I know I of course will be able to eat afterwards aswell, but still felt a need to serve a complete feast for dinner tonight. Champagne and shrimps for starters and beef tenderloin with potatoe gratin for main course, a really nice Amarone wine to go with it. Normal? I assume and hope so...
Tomorrow will be a day of excitement and I will most likely be a complete wreck of nerves. On top of trying to deal with all my feelings of death anxiety I will have to give myself an injection tomorrow night...something I have never done before....:-S
I wish I could fast forward until monday afternoon and I would be reassured that I would wake up after surgery and all went well.
