I have 6 tattoos. Nothing is sleeve related. I have my children's names, 4 names, around one ankle, Marvin the Martian on the other ankle, Tweety Bird on my back, chinese symbols for grief and love on the back of neck, In Memory of on my chest and a portrait on my right arm. I love tattoo's and I plan on getting more but I don't know what of yet.

I started Zumba last night and I loved it! The class is at my local recreation center and it is 2 days a week.

I too have done years of diets and each and every one I lost but gained right back. I have never been more motivated to lose since I got the sleeve. I use to think I could do it on my own but quickly learned I was wrong. Don't doubt yourself!

Mirena is non-hormonal and birth control pills are hormonal that is why you didn't have acne when you were on birth control pills. If the acne gets too much for you, you can see a dermatologist or go back on pills to control the acne.

It's normal to have spotting for the first 6 months after having the Mirena inserted. Some people have it some don't but everyone is different. You need to try and give it six months before removing it. It is very typical to not have periods with the Mirena but you need to try and give it the full six months. Spotting is irritating but it beats full blown periods every month. Good luck!

Psych evaluation has always been a requirement for WLS. They want to make sure you understand what you are getting into and if you are capable of handling the new changes. It is something they have been doing for over a decade. Good luck with your journey and keep us updated!

I'm thinking it has to be water weight as well. I don't see how else you could have gained 3 in 2. Don't sweat it! It will come off plus some. Good luck!

I have a digital scale. Mine is all fancy with BMI and all but still digital. I've always noticied a difference between digital and manual. Since almost all doctor offices are digital that is why I choose digital.
