ISOPURE AT GNC
I cannot find the 6-8oz bottles of Isopure and I cannot stand the 20oz bottles. The smaller ones are much more tolerable to me.

=( scared of having my sleeve gastrectomy! =(
I also agree with Tiff. You should see a doctor and just do a medically supervised diet plan. You don't have that much to lose. It would not be worth it to do that to your body for just 30 or so pounds! Good luck.

i finally understand!!!!!
I have been putting off exercise but I know that I will not lose the weight without exercise as well. I am joining a gym today and signing up for a Zumba class that starts in Feb. I have always been afraid of what others think of me and now I really don't care. I am doing this for me not them! Good luck to us all!!!

Scale Recommendation
I bought a scale at WalMart that records your weight, goal weight and BMI. It tells me everyday how much I have gained and or lost and how much more I have to lose to get to my goal weight. It records up to 4 users. I love it. It cost under $20.

Question for the Ladies?
I was a full D cup and I am just 5 weeks post op and my breasts are starting to look flat. I have no volume, no nothing. I told my husband before surgery that I wanted a tummy tuck and boob job after I lose all my weight. He agreed so at least I know I won't have to put up with sagging boobs forever. I LIKE having boobs and it is important to me for them to be in place and not at my knees! lol

Smoothie... ok for full liquids, or more mushies?
I was told I could have bananas at 4 weeks post op during the mushy stage. It is all up to the surgeon though.
-
Give me all your secrets!
The first 2 weeks after surgery I was on liquids only then the next 2 weeks were creamy soups and yogurt. I just started mushy foods like Cream of Wheat and anything I can mash a fork through. Your able to eat things sooner than I was. I will be 5 weeks out Monday. Just stick with it and no it is only a temporary thing! Good luck.

Zumba anyone?
I was going to join a Zumba class this month but decided to get under 200 before I try it out. I have never been one to exercise so I thought I would lose a few more pounds first. I can't wait to try it out. Everyone talks about how fun it is!

Do you have BCBS Insurance?
I have BCBS of IL and I had to do 3 months of dieting with my PCP, nutrionist visit, Psych evaluation was required through my insurance. My surgeon wanted the sleep study and EGD. My insurance covered everything without question. Of course even though we have the same insurance, all policies are written differently.

About how much should I eat at one time?
I am also 4 weeks out and I can only eat about a 1/2 cup at a time, maybe a cup, but no more than that. I have read that after sleeve surgery your tummy only holds 1 - 5 ounces of food. Just remember to chew, chew, chew and take it slow!

Calcium Citrate
I have to take 6 chewables a day so feel lucky. I just got some samples today from my doctor, bariatric advantage. I tried rasberry and it wasn't bad at all.
