Taco Soup

This is very easy and you can change some of the ingredients around according to taste, freezes well.

Taco Soup

1lb ground beef or turkey, browned

2 cans hominy (or corn)

2 cans pinto Beans (or 1 pinto and 1 black beans)

1 can Rotel tomatoes (tomatoes and green chilies if you can't get Rotel brand)

1 pkg dry Ranch dressing mix

1 pkg taco seasoning

Do not drain cans, Mix all together and cook 3-4 hrs, Serve with chips and grated cheese

This is one of our favorites, but we have so much in the freezer that I won't have to make this for a very long time!

Love this one! I made it for my non WLS friends and it was a hit. I misread the recipe and put 2 lbs of extra lean ground beef in it but it was still yummy and packed with protein. Thanks for sharing it!!!

This sounds really good, I will have to make some soon.
