Hello everyone.
After much deep soul searching , I came to the conclusion that I needed to take ACTION. Something needed to be done. But wasn't sure if anything could be done because of many previous abdominal surgeries. I went to a pre over all basic weight loss mtg. that was required in Oct and then a general orientation in Nov., and learned of the available options. Meeting with the surgeon on the 3rd of Dec. at consult was quite an experience. She flat out told me that I was not a good candidate for roeyn- y and that the sleeve would be my only option. I had already been researching and gathering info on the sleeve, and low and behold I found you wonerful people on this site! I've been watching, reading and listening to you guys for 5 months. Needless to say, I've worked really hard to loose my required weight and my surgery is going to be Wed., March 10th , 8:30 am. It all seems so surreal in the sense that this is really going to happen . Having this surgery gives me brightness of hope for a healthier, happier, fulfilling (excuse the pun) future. Thank you for sharing the good, bad and truthfulness of it all. It is greatly appreciated!!:thumbup1:
