Embarrassing NSV

Recommended Posts

A few years ago I had lost about 50 lbs but hadn't bought any new clothes. I was walking down the hall at school with high school students on every side of me and all of a sudden I felt it.....my drawers slid right now to the floor!! I kicked them in an office door and just kept on walking! And then I went shopping!!

LMAO!!!! haha, yeah i dont know how they do it either, ive seen the guys with their pants so low u can see almost all of their underwear..what the heck is that....?!

Here in Boise, the boys have started buying their jeans to fit just above the tops of their legs, so a great deal of their underwear shows. I'm really not sure how they keep them up, or how they can stand it. It looks very uncomfortable. :cake:

LOL P'nut! They're STARTING to? You gotta love Boise! I think I might have to move there.

Just teasing you Susan. Boys have been wearing them that way here for years and years. And years. lol

Awww, Kat, that is hysterical. So, the paperclips held ok?

I am making a mental note to buy some safety pins next time I go to the store and keep them with me at all times. I wish my pants were falling down.

hehe, ya the paper clips held ok except for the the one getting stuck in my underwear fabric.

The boys were doing that when I was in high school....my hubby recently lost a bit of weight as well and his pants are starting to hang a bit, it annoys him so bad that he has to have a belt or he just takes them off when he gets home, I have seen some of those boys running and literally holding their pants on...shessh

Well yeah, they have been wearing them low... but down so far they are almost not even on the butt?

*grins at Donna* I love living behind the times. Gives me longer to appreciate the "good old days".

And I think it would be GREAT if you moved here! *huge smile*

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
