Day 3 of post op my stomache is sooo swollen I look like I have a pregnant belly and I'm pretty sure I can feel the band when I touch it. Is this normal?

I doubt you can feel your band. Unless you got your surgery in a back alley of New Delhi. Just take deep breaths and any pain meds they gave you and you'll be fine. It's very scary at first but each day gets better.

I was very swollen after too...you probably need to walk around the house every hour to help get the gas out. One week postop and I still feel somewhat bloated.

I was bloated well into week 3. You cracked me up.."I think I can feel my band". If you were that tiny, you wouldn't have needed the surgery. LOL Eventually you will be able to feel your port, but never the band.

no you cant touch the band (maybe you can feel the hardness are around the port perhaps) but as the days pass, the air they used to puff you up will come out (yep you guess how) and the swelling inside will go down also....it gets better every day.......please be patient, rest, sip your liquids and take care of yourself...
