It was nice we got in a shady spot sitting in rocking chairs!!! lol and drank 5.00 lemonaide :) All in all I still have no idea what what going on lol but we had a blast and the kids knew everything and told me when to cheer lol

Maybe we'll go to more the kids really enjoyed it alot.

Cool! I love baseball. Who did you see?

My husband and step-son went to a New Orleans Zephyrs (minor league) game last Friday. I had some yummy :pop2: too! They set off fireworks every Friday night after the games. It was fantastic and rivals a lot of 4th of July celebrations I've seen.

I live just outside of Cleveland, so we go to see the Indians. I love baseball. I was my sons assistant coach all through little league and still love to watch him play as an adult. I took my nephew who was visiting from Florida one day and he was in awe of the major league game and the stadium. It was fun seeing him experience that for the first time.

Major league baseball games are even better!! I saw one of the subway series playoff games (Yankees vs. Mets) when I used to live in New Jersey. That was a hoot!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
