I got banned in January 2013 and have lost 72 pounds so far and still moving right along. Off of blood pressure meds, off all diabetic medication and off almost all other medications. I would do it all over again, it's been great so far. I have a question, how do you get the weight loss ticker on the bottom of your page?

Congrats, on the top left of the page click on your user name and it will open a drop down box, you will see the ticker there.

Good luck

Did you make a ticker already? If you go to the edit profile section online (don't know from the app) you should be able to make the ticker and then when you edit your signature you can add it to your signature.

Good luck =) and GREAT weight loss!!

fantastic weight lost...I was banded Jan15 and have lost 40 lbs .. I know this was the best thing for me.. I know I will healthier and happier for the years to come... I can't believe I have not had any weight gain since starting this... not that I have tried but usually by now on any other weight loss deal I would have gained weight back...

I'm five days post op and having the same feeling!!

Really ? Why what's the matter ? If you want to vent I'm here. I don't have any regrets other than the two weeks of liquids is really getting to me. One more week but I go back to work tomorrow so that will help. Stay strong an focus on the end results :).

Hi wheelcrazy, I am with you. I was banded on 5/20/2013 and I am still thinking Lord what have I done. Thank God I have lost weight so far and made it through the first week of liquid diet. I'm praying to overcome this feeling of buyers remorse.

Everything is ok. It's just really hard on this liquid diet. I have no energy. I keep getting headaches. My port site hurts. It's all such a change.

I agree, the full liquid is betting OLD!! Especially today during cookouts.... but honestly for me the worst is the gas pains in my shoulder!! Any suggestions_?

Take some Gas-X strips, using a heating pad (worked wonders for me) and get up and walk around your house or outside to get the blood flow moving. I also shrugged my shoulders from time to time but what your feeling is temporary! I'm 6 days post op and I'm glad that phase is over!! Take care!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
