Second fill today!

Recommended Posts

Just got done about a half hour ago with my second fill. I have lost 27 pounds in 6 weeks. I am very proud of that number but I'm eager to get to 30 pounds lost lol. Still have a long way to go but at least I'm getting closer. My first fill was painful but this time I didn't even feel it! It was great. I'm up to 4cc. Nurse was not sure why Dr didn't give me the full 3 last time so she was a bit hesitant to give me more than two. Its okay with me tho because I know its working. Yay! Starting my 5k training this week for a family 5k in October. Also hoping to tighten and tone my body as well as drop more weight. 27 pounds lost and 11 inches lost. Yay!

Congrats miznikkie!

I'm also on my second fill. At 4.6 and feel some restriction finally! Many things slide right on past, but the things I really like such as chicken do not so I have to follow the rules now. Been waiting for this day for a while.

Yeah, it sounds like the doc didn't give you enough on the first fill either. Mine was the same way, but it was my own fault. The fill freaked me out so much when I took a drink that he took too much out.

I have a third fill scheduled for the end of the month and can't wait. Think I'm close, but I would like a bit more restriction.

I go for my 3rd fill at the end of this month as well. Surprisingly I have felt restriction since surgery. Not huge but like before I could eat 5 pieces of pizza with no problem but last week before the flu I could eat 1-2 slices of thin crust pizza to feel full. So huge improvement. How much have you lost since surgery?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
