How long until I can swim? I feel like it's inch a silly question to call the clinic about.

I was told 6 weeks. I had the band the end of July, live in a condo with a pool and couldn't use the pool. That sucked. Call your doctor because every one of them has different rules. If you have other questions, make a list.

All of your incisions must be fully closed before swimming in any pool.

I have a hot tub and Dr said the incision had to be totally healed up.

Check with your doctor but you wanna make sure the incisions are healed first dont wanna risk getting bacteria in them and cause an infection!

You also don't want to fill up with pool water!

I got the ok to swim las my Friday. So I started Monday. Feels good.
