I was wondering what everyone is taking for lunch? I have always had a hard time finding things I like for lunch and now it's even worse. Hopefully you all can give me some new ideas. I am 2 months post op, regular diet. Thanks

I most definitely think we I have to work harder to lose due to PCOS but I think about pre surgery diet and I would work so hard doing everything right and maybe lose 5 lbs in 3 months so I am so thankful that my hard work is finally paying off. I was never a eat too much kind of person. I was always on a diet that never worked on looking the next one to try. Now in 2 moths I've lost 20lbs and for the first time in my life I'm not on a diet per say just eating smaller portions. Could not be happier.

I too have PCOS but I'm to scared to go off BC. I have been on it for 15 years and every time in the past I went off it was a disaster. We're you lady's on BC before?

I am almost 6 weeks post op but haven't lost any weight the last 2 1/2 weeks. Post op weight loss is 12lbs.

I also was so cold and I'm in FL!!! I got chewable iron and have been taking it for 3 weeks, I am still cold but much better than I was.

I am right with you! My first fill is next Thursday so one more week to go. I hope I can stay strong and not eat to much but it's very hard because like you I know I could eat it all. As others have said that's why what we are in is called bander hell! Good luck to us both lol

My surgeon said I could chew gum just don't swallow it. it's funny how different surgeons can be!

Hi Ashely! I am 28, I also have PCOS. I was diagnosed when I was 18. I have been on a diet my whole life it seems lol. I had my sx on 3/1/13 and have never been happier. Down a total of 15 lbs so far. Most I've ever lost in a month before this was 5 lbs so I feel like this will be the tool I needed so long ago.

I am with I also got sick from pain meds with my tummy tuck. This was a walk in the park compared to my tummy tuck. You will do fine. Just a heads up I did get sick with this sx too and had to call for anti nausea meds so you might want to ask for them a head of time.

I went to one surgeon that charged a $1500 program fee for insurance people. I went to a new surgeon that didn't have a fee and all I had to pay was 200 copay. I figured I would need that $ for new cloths so why pay it to the surgeon when others don't charge a fee!

I was cleared at my 2 week apt.

Banded 3/1/13 I'm eating between 800 and1000 cal a day, at least 60g of protein and working out an hour a day 5 days a week. I lost 10 lbs after surgery and then nothing for the last week! I know the first month is for healing but its just so frustrating! I don't have my first fill until 3/11 and I feel like I need it now! Help!
