Hello there! I was banded on 11/12/12 and have lost a total of 39 pounds since 11/5/12 (pre op diet)! I went through a stage in the begininng after surgery like holy cow, what did i do to myself?! But... once the pounds started coming off, i really started to become a lap band addict
I have followed all advice from my doctor to a T... i eat less than 1000 calories, i eat no more than a cup of food, and i make sure to get all the protein i need. People ask me why i just didnt do that sort of diet without the band and i say the difference is that the band is there as a tool, to keep me in check! It makes me not want to "test" it or take chances, i want this to this right. I have continued to lost a steady 3-4 pounds a week and it feels great, if i had known it was this easy, i would have done this years ago! I hope everyone is having as much sucess as i am thus far and its great to have such a support system! Merry Christmas everyone!
