  • You just had major surgery, give yourself a chance to recover. As you are able to eat more your energy will come back.

rest, keep sipping and get as much Protein in as you can as its your fuel

(still new out from majory surgery so your body has to heal). congrats to you

protein drink has a lot of nutrients that will help, gartor aid I heard works well. I find hot water is easier to go down. Do you have chewable vituims? be sure to have them daily. This is the tough time but it will get better. get your rest as much as possible your body is recovering it might just be its way to say take a nap.

I am following everything to the T. I feel tired and weak from the pain where I think the port is at.

As was said, you have had major surgery, take care of yourself. My son-in-law had his surgery on friday. He is walking and drinking lots of broth,e tc. I know the lack of chewing gets boring, but its only for a little while. Best wishes on your recovery.Karen
