  1. I have no idea why I am bloating. It's probably over eating.
  2. I was in the same situation. Exactly. I had to have fluid removed. Now I only have 3cc and I have practically gained all of 50 lbs in 4 months. The bloating is horrible. I just saw my nut today and getting a full this week. I am super frustrated and just disappointed in myself.

  5. I was also banded Nov 28th of 2012. It has been very slow but I haven't gained any weight. Just having trouble with keeping the recipes fresh that are lap band friendly. Wishing there was more of a support group for the maintenence phase
  6. I would never be jealous of anyones successes. I have never been that person or every will be. I am confident in myself as big as I have gotten and as small as I have gotten. But I am allowed to have emotions of disappointment and ask for encouragement and advise from the senior level bandsters on this site. Thats all.

  8. Thank to all y'all for the encouragement. It really means the world to me and I really appreciate all the advise. I take it all in and I am inspired once again.
  9. I hope things are different next week for me. I would be happy to even lose 1/2 a pound.
  10. I go for my 1st fill on the 26th. I just read everyone's successes and I really want to have those successes too. I am really trying hard and not cheating and I just get depressed when I don't see the scale move even an ounce.
  11. I was banded Nov 28th. Maybe I need to exercise more. You are too sweet to offer your kind words. You are right about changing our lives. I need to stay positive. Thank you for your words of encouragement. They are appreciated and valued.
  12. I am doing everything I should be doing!!!! But this dang scale has not moved in more than a week. I just want to give up.

  16. Hi!!! I am 4 weeks post op and super happy. It is a challenge but I keep looking at the light at the end of the tunnel. Just keep on focusing on healing and your Drs advise. You will do great!!! Annette
  17. I am 4 weeks post op and my Dr is Hollis. He is patient and kind. The post op staff was okay. One nurse was just awful bad. She was complaining about having to stay late and got after another nurse for giving me pain meds because I was kinda zombied out. She then proceeded to tell ask me if I thought this would be a cake walk and to expect pain. If I would have been in my right mind I would have probably told her something about her chair side manner. But being in the medicated state of mind I was in all I could do was frown. Good luck to you and 4 weeks post op I can say I am excited to great things to come.
  18. @Chrissy I was banded on a Wednesday. I went back to work on that Friday half day and full time on that Monday. I have a desk job so it wasnt to bad other than the driving. I left early from work 30 minutes to avoid the traffic.
