Coughing

I am 20 days post op and I am getting sick my question is can too much coughing do anything to my band?

I dont think so. Its more vomiting then anything that causes slippage. I would get some cough syrup from your doctor though.

If you're coughing really hard, like the type that sometimes results in choking, then it's possible but unlikely.

If you're worried, I'd call your doctor. Perhaps they can call you in a script for a good cough suppressant.

per my dr and also i asked jean m of bandwagon this question

they said it would have to be some heavy coughing over a long period of time to cause damage..

def take cough suppressant if need be as cheryl referenced..i made sure i have those type of things on hand just in case.

Went ahead to after hours clinic n I have the flu. They gave me two shots n tamiflu n another rx. I'm feeling better.
