Seriously Need To Vent!!!

So, I had my surgery Monday afternoon. Got home around 8pm Monday night. I have a 1 year old son, and my husband, who took off the entire week to be home with me, only actually stayed at the house on Tuesday to help me. I have been on my own with baby boy since Wednesday morning. He was so supportive before the surgery and has now left me high and dry. Really pissed at him right now.

  • Oh hun thats so sad..... You do what you can, maybe call his family and ask them if they can help....cuz their son cant.... And i love my hubby but his idea of watching the kids and my idea are so

  • Awww, he had to get out of the house. That one day really took it out of him, poor guy. It's hard work you know. Men, they can be real asses sometimes! Sorry any male bandsters, but 8 out of 10 t

perhaps you ladies have forgotten how difficult it is to communicate IN person let alone on the screen.

While anyone can sympathies with venting, consider how well any of you would take ongoing sexist bashing of this nature.

Nuance is difficult under best of circumstances.

Not all men are like that. My husband was and is very supportive. Sometimes toooo much. Aren't you eating too big of a bite of food? Are you suppose to eat that? Aren't you eating too fast? Oh well, I guess some are too overbearing and others just disappear???

I agree..not all men are like that. My husband waited on me hand and foot while i was recovering and took perfect care of the kids also. I was actually shocked...lol. Im sorry he left you like that. You definately should not be lifting a baby so soon after surgery. It can be dangerous.

Dee i totally agree with you. Call your SIL his aunts his friends whoever to get you some help. And as always MIL last resort. But it will surely get his attention

I already know my husband will be NO help when I have surgery. I live hundreds of miles away from my family but my mom is coming down to help... Thank God!

Somehow I don't think this thread is about the band.... There are much deeper issues here. Best wishes for a successful recovery.
