Surgery Was A Success!!!!

  • Popular Post

I had surgery October 18, I'm in no pain tolerating liquids well!!! I'm in a little discomfort where my port is. My blood pressure is the lowest it's been in years!!! I had no nausea, I'm up walking around!!! I'm soooo glad I had this surgery. My doctor did discover I did have a hiatal hernia, which he removed!!! I can't wait to see my progress in a few months and start to exercise! !!

I am only a day and half from my banding date! Friday late morning is my time.......and has not had a diet coke for like 10 days now....I wonder how it will be sleeping on my left side? I am a side sleeper and it is left mostly. But plan on doing the recliner sleep time for a few days if needed.

I have been in the recliner all week. I can only lay flat in bed, can't do my side, and it is miserable. Of course I carry 95% of my weight in my stomach (like an apple) so that is probably why I can't lay on it!

Good luck today!

I agree' date=' it is nice to have a guy on here!! Welcome Scotland!! Good luck on your liquid diet. Honestly the surgery and recovery for me wasn't that bad. You know what bothered me, when they had to put a tube down my throat during surgery. Days after my throat hurt. Keep us posted!![/quote']

Thank you Kittylove32.

Surgery went well in pain with gas in chest. Hubby wakes me up every hour to walk and doing breathing machine. I threw up a little cuz I swallowed my medicine too fast but the walking is making me feel a little better
