Surgery Was A Success!!!!

  • Popular Post

I had surgery October 18, I'm in no pain tolerating liquids well!!! I'm in a little discomfort where my port is. My blood pressure is the lowest it's been in years!!! I had no nausea, I'm up walking around!!! I'm soooo glad I had this surgery. My doctor did discover I did have a hiatal hernia, which he removed!!! I can't wait to see my progress in a few months and start to exercise! !!

And by restriction I mean restricted foods... No getting stuck, no pbing, I don't know. I'm talking to my surgeon today hopefully I will make a decision! It's less invasive like the band but hasn't been aroun as long...

Let me know what he says ok? I don't know if my surgeon does plication. No one has mentioned it

Ya. Maintaining the weight loss is the hardest for me. I kinda feel like the restrictions to our diet will be minimal once we achieve "goal" weight. But it's gonna be a long journey for me to get there cuz I need to lose about 130lbs! Lol. I wish you the best in what ever decision you make. Keep us posted.

Thank you for replying. Right now I need all the encouragement and positive feedback I can get!

Congratulations Marshawn

Well we had the big talk! I am decided! Plication it is! The band is great too, but for the above reasons I chose plication. Also the dr who would have done my fills lives 2 hrs away ( I'm from a small town). So I was worried I I ever needed a emerg unfill what would I do?? So there it is... Honestly I'm excited and relieved that I made a decision!

The lapband forum is way better than the plication one though and there are some wonderful people on here so I am still gonna creep lol

I'm doing quite well, still a little pain/discomfort where my port is, but other than that I'm doing ok. I really don't have much of an appetite, I still drink broth, I'm on sherbet now.

I just sent the packet to all that requested it.

I have 1 day and 17 hours until my surgery. So excited

Please send me the packet
