Question About Sandwiches And Wraps

Can you tell I am getting closer to my maintenance eating plan - stage 4 tomorrow for 10 days, soft foods (add a banana, that is great), ground meats, crackers etc.

I was wondering when it comes time that you can have a sandwich or a wrap do you just take a bit and chew, or do you cut up your sandwiches (burgers/wraps etc)........how do you eat them. (besides with your mouth and teeth for those smart a$$es out there :) )

I know crazy question, but I am sure others are wondering, as we are always told small portions and chew.

It depends on the sandwich. If it's a moderate sized, say on flat bread or pita bread, I take small bites. If it's a bigger sandwich, say a melt, then I use a fork and knife to eat it.

I generally can't eat sandwiches unless I toast the bread and flatten it to get air pockets out.

I take small bites and wait in between bites. Also, by eating slower I am full before being able to finish it. :)

Believe me I am not going to try bread, but will try when appropriate, wraps, pita's toasted thins.

thanks everyone.

Generally toasted bread is easier to eat than untoasted. Try making a toasted , open sandwich, use grainy bread and eat that with a knife and fork. If you want a wrap I would suggest that you nibble at it rather than take bites. Eat very slowly and stop if you have any discomfort.
