Fun Question

What are all my fellow pre banders most excited to do when they shed their extra lbs? Me? Roller Coasters.....the beach.....and bikes! I haven't done any of these in ages! What about you?

  • all I want is to get back into my original wedding rings. I out grew them years ago. I never got them enlarged because I always planned on getting back into them.

  • I'm not a pre-bander, I'm about 9 weeks post op, but I do have a "bucket list" for when I'm at goal. The little celebration I've already had was losing enough to fit comfortably in my Victorias Sec

I read on here someone mentioned a 'bucket list' for after the weight loss. What a great idea! I think it will be such a great motivational tool!

Mine is hit Cedar Point, go to the beach IN A BATHING SUIT yikes! and finally set a date for my wedding which I refuse to do until I lose weight

Bucket list; wear shorts for the first time in 14 years, wear a bathing suit without being totally mortified, go to a Water park, lots of roller coasters, and shopping!!!

I want to take my kids to a water park. They would so love that.

I want to wear anything but the damn floor length purple tent of a dress that has been my only decent going out outfit for the last three freakin years!

I want to walk to the park with my sister without feeling like the gross fat sister.

Going up or down any stairs without wincing!

Wanna buy a cute pair of boots without looking for the wide calf ones!

Wearing high heels again.

I need my knee pain to be gone, that is my biggest wish.

Get dressed in 5 minutes, not to think about my choice of clothes for half an hour every day, trying to figure out what makes me look not that fat - when in reality I look fat in whatever I put on:/

I want to go to a water park in a REAL bathing suit. No more t-shirts and shorts. I already have a trip planned for next July so I'm hoping that will help me stay on track. Also knee high boots... I have a hard time with them anyway since I wear a size four, but I'm still gonna try to find some, darnit!!

Ohh my bucket list is.. •Go horse riding •Wear shorts/skirts/dresses • Go on Rolacoasters •Buy and wear a leather jacket without looking silly •Wear a swimsuit for the first time in 10 years! And be able to go swimming in my local swimming pool. • Wear short sleeved tops without worrying about my giant arms.

i'm very into fashion. but i am always picking it out for everyone else. i want to be able to shop for myself. and by clothes in stores rather than online. :)

great posts everyone! Before you know it will be next summer and what a difference a year can make! I can honestly say these last 18 months have gone by so fast for me. Just remember that the band is a tool that you must use, it can't do it alone! Good luck everyone!

Bucket List: Go to Lane Bryant, try on the smallest size & find that its too big! Ride go carts with my son. Wear heels without ankle pain. Get GOOD seats to a comedy show at the Improv without fear of the comedian using me for fat jokes!

Ahh love all these things!!

For me its simple:

1. Sounds cliche, but I want to rock a bikini...nothing skimpy but it would be amazing to wear something that DOESN'T cover my entire torso!

2. Look great in a Form fitting "little black dress" with an amazing new pair of high heels.

3. To be able to one day get rid of my Spanx!

4. Lastly, I want to train for a sports event, not sure which kind but something that would require serious physical training. (My original plan was to join the army, but apparently once you have weight loss surgery, its an automatic disqualification - Boo!)

1. Wear stilettos for hours and not have my knees hurt

2. Zip up and comfortably wear my knee high boots

3. Have everything in Lane Bryant be too big

4. After I'm at goal, see every ex and person who called me fat

5. Wear a skirt above my knee

6. Take swimming lessons in a swim suit with no skirt or wrap and feel comfortable doing so

7. Show off my new body for my 38th birthday on an island 8/27/13)

8. Attend my 20th class reunion (6/2013) in the same size I wore in High School...a size 10.

I just wanna be able to tuck in my shirt! And not look like a package of hotdogs!!

And of course when I hit my goal..I'm buying a sexy nighty for hubby;)

It's coming, I can just taste the freedom!!!

My bucket list..Go sky diving, run in the Spartan race with my sister, Get more tattoos (Can't now because there is too much fat/bulge where I want them), Like having my picture taken again, Change my hairstyle completely, Shop in the regular section at Forever 21 (and ever other store), Donate my entire wardrobe, Buy the skimpiest thing I can find at VS and feel comfortable wearing it for my boyfriend, Go out on the town with my best friends in a bangin outfit, Buy a pair of tall boots that fit, Marry my man in a form fitting pnina tornai gown! (I'm not even engaged yet..but this is all about dreams, right? haha)

clarks4willie love the pic of your pup!
