Hi all, i finally just got approved for lapband surgery after 6 months of a required supervised weight loss program. Excited but also very nervous as this will be my first surgery as well as hospital stay. Looking forward to learning more about your experiences in the coming weeks

Congrats prettysmart!!!!! Have you completed any of your pre-op appointments yet? I am currently waiting for my packet with the scheduled appointments. Hopefully the surgery will be scheduled by the end sept.

I also just got approved! My surgery is August 6th, and as someone said earlier, I really never thought this day would come

Did they do psychological counseling. I know in my case at least the obesity is linked to depression.
