Anyone have any suggestions of things to bring to the hospital? I've heard Gas-X strips, and a heating pad.. Anything else?

Jpop reacted to Sojourner in Are You Physically Able To Thow Up?If you are intentionally purging after eating, you are exhibiting symptoms of a serious eating disorder, not to mention the possible harm you may do to your stomach and band.
It would be in your best interests to let your surgeon know what you have been doing, and seek professional help from a counselor who specializes in eating disorders.

Jpop got a reaction from ☠carolinagirl☠ in Day One Of Liquid Diet!Today is my day one of the liquid diet, and it also marks 2 weeks before my surgery! So far I'm doing pretty good, but then again it;s only 10:48am on day 1 lol. Anyone have any good liquid diet tips? Any specific broth people prefer?

Jpop got a reaction from lozanorivera69 in New And Super Excited!Hello I'm Jonna, and I just got approved for the lap band! My surgery is August 6th (so soon!! AHH!), and I've never had any kind of surgery before. So nervous, but SO excited!!
Just a little blurb about myself, I'm a psych nurse at a small census crisis stabilization unit, which I love. I also am musician (classical), have a wonderfully supportive fiance, love to spend time watching anime and reading manga, and love playing video games!
Anyone live in massachusetts?
