New And Super Excited!

Hello ^_^ I'm Jonna, and I just got approved for the lap band! My surgery is August 6th (so soon!! AHH!), and I've never had any kind of surgery before. So nervous, but SO excited!! :D

Just a little blurb about myself, I'm a psych nurse at a small census crisis stabilization unit, which I love. I also am musician (classical), have a wonderfully supportive fiance, love to spend time watching anime and reading manga, and love playing video games!

Anyone live in massachusetts?

Hi Jonna!

Congrats on your date! Your post struck me because my inspiration is also a psych nurse in MA who got banded several years ago. His name is Sean Kirby -- seanmkirby@hotmail.com. (I don't think he's on this site.) He's a great guy, loves getting to know new people, and would enjoy hearing from you (and, you probably have friends in common...)

Good luck with your surgery -- I look forward to hearing how it goes!

Happy you got green lit so fast. I have my initial appointment in August. Love me some manga, anime, (god help me, got all sorts of addicted to kdrama love stories much to my husbands dread) and my final fantasies. ::sigh:: I kinda never let my teenage guilty pleasures go. ::shrugs:: though I am an avid reader too, so it stimulates the mind. :). Nice to meet you.
