Today was my 1 month follow up and scheduled for my first fill, this week I have been having a flare up due to lupus, overall not feeling good, I was NOT numbed before the poke my dr said " we don't numb anyone because they can be over poked" it was painful! I felt immediate stabbing pain in my back. And the sensation of the fluid running through the port was excruciating. I had to ask her to stop! I couldn't take it anymore. A 10/10 pain. And I have a high tolerance to pain. I'm wondering has anyone else experienced pain like this, it's probably that my body is sensitive and hurting because of my flare up :/
