  1. Eating shrimp right now! Lol. Only seafood I've had an issue with is tuna. I assume bc i cut back on the mayo so it's dryish. For me, seafood is 100% easier than chicken. I hate wet chicken (makes me gag with the popping when you chew.. *shivers*) so i eat it often.
  2. Why do people keep saying this?!?! It IS meant to stay in for life.
  3. Mine says liquids for 2 days, mushy foods for one then normal. The problem was I couldn't swallow liquids.
  4. I had my 3rd fill on Friday. I was doing fine or so I thought but I've gotten stuck every time pretty much since then. Even fluids. I haven't thrown up just the slimming and spitting up. Anything i can do at home to help ease it down? Or do you think I'm over filled?
  5. What? You mean the op's poor sentence structure? Lol
  6. Hi y'all. I had my 3rd fill on Friday. I think I am feeling constriction but I am unsure. So I'm wondering what does it feel like when you over eat? I know the stuck feeling it's happened 2x so does it feel like that or something else? My doctor said he doesn't want me to calorie count or portion control he wants me to "listen to my body". So, idk. I'm down 30 pounds and I'm 72 days post op. Is this on track or slow? Ugh I am at a loss.
  7. I am 72 days post op and just had my 3rd fill today.
  8. I've never had pain, just a poke. Wonder if it's the right place!
  9. I understand you want to 'test' the waters.. but come on.. a small pizza? I wouldn't of allowed myself to eat that before the band. Regardless of how much you can eat, you should be eating healthier foods if you really want to test it, that is just irresponsible on your part. You need to do your part, with controlling your appetite and choices. Keep on this path and you will (if you haven't already) stretch your pouch or cause a slip.
  10. I would for sure give your doctor a call on Monday if it doesn't subside.
  11. I had a bmi of 35 and hypertension. I was required to see my pcm every month for 6 months. I had no weight loss requirement and was approved very quickly after the 6months.
  12. With post op you need to be careful. You're still healing on the inside. Try something hot to eat. Like a Soup, a thin one. It will loosen you up and at least for me it subsided the pain.
  13. I was banded on April 24th and have lost 37 pounds. At least that's what my scale says! It doesn't feel like it though. :-/

  15. Nope strictly after banding. I'm not even a purse women lol. I've only been banded for a month so i think it has a lot to do with me mourning food in a way. I would talk to someone but I myself am a SA counselor. So seeing my work associates as therapist instead of 'friends' might be hard. Haha
  16. I have my first fill on June 5th. Recovery is going pretty well. When i workout i can feel my port and it makes me a bit nauseous. I'm down about 30 pounds. Well that's what the scale says. I don't feel like I've lost anything near that amount though. I guess i will see if my scale is accurate when i go for my follow up. Glad you're doing well! Woohoo for being ahead!
