Being banded should mean that you no longer have to do liquid diets and go hungry. It may take a while to reach the proper level of restriction for you to be in that state, but have patience. The band

Don't feel bad i get my first fill on 7/12, i've only lost 12 lbs in the process, they tell me that i should start losing once i get that first fill and excercise regularly and "EAT THE RIGHT FOODS" which i'm sticking to so we'll see what happens after that....

I think you are doing pretty good. You still have 2 more weeks to loose before your fill so you will probably be at 15 to 20 for your first month. You are half way there!

I was banded on june 11th and have only lost 7 pounds since surgery. Sounds like your doing great. I get my first fill on july 17. I am not to concerned it takes time and i am not going to stress over only 7 pounds. Seven pounds is seven pounds. I am happy with that for only two and a half weeks. Since i started the whole process last november i have lost a total of 33 pounds and i feel great about were i am at. We will all get there!

I'm sticking to the shakes Atkins and muscle milk they are great and tomato soup with jello every day

By the way the weight loss is pure after surgery I had actually gained weight when on liquid diet

Really? 10 lbs in 2.5 weeks? Do you know we should expect 1-2 pounds per week AFTER we reach the proper fill level, many months into the process.

Do you want to know how much I had lost at 2.5 weeks? 4 pounds, and that was from week 1. At 2 months when I got my first fill, I was down about 5 lbs. I did not start losing until about 6 months out, after my 3rd fill. This is NOT quick weight loss like bypass.
