As long as you're on your full solids, you can eat salad. Just be careful with different veggies; you may have issues with some of the skins. Just take it slow until you find out what you can tolerate!

I would wait because you are still healing

We all should be following our surgeons instructions as to the timecscales they want us to follow diet wise... post op is a time of healing , its essential that u dont make the stomach move around by trying to digest solid food too early

I use a sharp knife for salad and cut really small, most days it doesnt get stuck but ocassionally it will bite me and get stuck so be gentle with ypourself and cheww like crazy and small bites only .. if u are on solids then u should be ok

You need to follow whatever food plan your doctor gave to you.
