How Do You Buy Clothes?

Recommended Posts

there will be plenty of swim suits for sale July- August, so I would just wait and get one then.

That's my plan. I'm cruising in September as well and I will want a new suit for sure. I'll just wait until kinda near the end of summer when they go on sale and get one that fits and possibly save money at the same time.

I know what you mean. My sons wedding is in September, I can't even start to try dresses on yet. But I do buy my swimsuits online http://www.swimsuitsforall.com/prodshelf.asp?dept_id=100073. They have a nice selection and sometimes you can buy in the clearance section pretty cheap. Plus if you log in, they will send you sales updates and coupons to. Hope this helps.

If it wasn't for Goodwill and the other wonderful second hand shops in town I wouldn't own more than a pair of jeans and a couple of tee shirts. When I can buy a pair of Wrangler Jet jeans for $8 instead of $60 and a Land's End shirt for $3 instead of $35 why would I ever go back to buying full price? Second hand stores are full of shopping mistakes other people made and rarely if ever wore. I've even bought things with the tags still on them. You have to check the racks often and know how to look in order to get the best bargains but it is worth it.

Best of all, it's tons of fun. ;)

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
