  • Try the heating pad...it will get better I promise. When I raised my arm in the air...it seemed to help as well. I know sounds weird...but whatever works...right?

Have you taken any pain medication today?

No

Pain meds gas x might help

Gas x strips!

The heating pad on my back and shoulder saved me! I didn't get these pains until almost a week after my surgery. Try heat.

Thanks everyone

keep up everything you know to do. it might go away quickly and then again it may not. everyone is different. i had the pain in my shoulder and neck for weeks... in the end it just calmed down and now it tell me when im hungry and when im full. Its going to be a good tool... something i will recognise easily.

I'm in so much discomfort I almost feel like I regret this lap band!!

I was you just 3 days ago! I regretted ever getting the band bc of the intense pain in my chest that radiated to my left shoulder. Trust me, it gets better. I'm still having the pain in my chest occasionally when I feel a burp coming up, but it won't come out, but the shoulder pain is gone. These are the awful side effects of surgery I wasn't warned about. I found out on this site that what I was feeling was normal. Hang in there, in a few days you'll feel like a new person.

Gas strips didn't help me at all. Walking and a heating pad did wonders. It will get better soon.

heating pad, drugs & walking this too will pass!
