Congratulations to both of you. I am not there yet in the process but hopefully within the next 30 days I can say I was banded as well.

Congrats! I'm glad you had a great experience. Having a great experience at the hospital really is nice. The staff at the surgery center I went to was really nice. The anesthesiologist put her hands on my face before I went under and said "We're going to take great care of you". And my Doctor told me not to worry that I will do great. Right then and there I knew I would be well taken care of. Congrats again on getting banded, I've only been banded a little over a week and I love it!

Oh, this anesthesiologist gets props from me! I'm a nurse, going under is scary. I've never seen anyone do this before.

Congrats everybody!

I was banded last week. Yay for us :)

This was the first time I've gotten treatment like this before. She was awesome, the whole staff was. I felt like I was being taken care of by family but yet they were strangers. I will ALWAYS remember that experience!

My hospital experience was great too. I cried until I was put to sleep and the team did all but hug me beforehand. I really made me feel better. They even prayed with me! Big ups to St. James hospital;)

I can't keep Water down :(

And I am not hungry but in a world of pain :(

I was done yesterday as well

My gas pains are pretty much gone today, my surgery was Tuesday. I suggest walking & when you're laying down, prop your legs up so they're higher than your chest, that seemed to help me.
