My 6th month is March 27, 2012. It has been a long, hard journey, but well worth the effort! I have lost a total of 122 pounds pre and post surgery and looking to lose about 35 more! Yeah us!!

  • That is amazing!!! Would you be willing to share any of your tips? I would LOVE to be down that much at my 6 month mark.

I had a nine month wait to have surgery because of all the steps that had to be taken and just the whole process took that long. I eat what sounds good to me and when I have that feeling of fullness I stop. I make sure I stay very active doing something. Like I said I just took up bike riding, I walk when the weather is nice. I watch my calorie intake try to stay at a 1000 or just under, per day. I will tell you and every one it is not easy, but just keep telling your self I can and will do this.

Thank you for the tips. Sounds a lot like what I'm doing : ) Thanks for the reassurance, I think I'm on the right path : )
