I heard hiccups are a sign that you are full or eating/drinking too fast.

Yes, normal!. You will be amazed at what sounds you will be hearing from your body now.... They get to be pretty funny at times. The hiccups didnt last very long for me. Now when I am full I just tend to burb a little. Or I gurggle. Sometimes I gurggle really loud and other people will hear it. Sometimes embarrising like when you are getting a massage and are in a really quite room smilielol5.gif

could be etaqing to fast or you found your soft stop

Eating too fast or not chewing enough gives me the hiccups.

For me, hiccups come when I drink something cold too fast. They are not fun.

Normal. I get them when I eat too fast or am full. They took me by surprise the first time too.

If I hiccup 1 time it means i'm full, 2 times means you have had to much, so stop or you will be sorry..

I don't get a case of hiccups often, but if I do, then its just hiccups.

hiccups let me know to stop eating. it's funny cuz my co-workers know what it means....lol.

yes your band will make you make all kinds of weird noises. the gurggling thing is the most unpleasant to me

Thank you all for your help.it must be that I am drinking too fast because I have not eatten in a week. Tomorrow I go for my first Post op visit with my list of questions.

I started getting those yesterday for no reason. I eat slow. I only consume a total of a cup of cream type soup throughout a day, maybe an 8oz Protein Shake that I have to spread out in a day, sometimes a 1/2 cup of jello or a popcicle at days end, plus sip water throughout the day. I go for my 1 week follow-up today. I'm gonna ask about it. It wouldn't be an issue, but every time i get it, feels like it's ripping stitches. nonod.gif
