I have started the process and am excited to start this journey and get my life back. I am done with the dietician, psyc evaluation, met with the doctor and am waiting for the 6 months of doc supervised visits to pass and hopefully insurance will approve and I can be on my way. So glad I found the site...so much information from others in the same situation and hoping I can learn much more before I am banded. I am ready for this and am hoping I dont let myself down when the time comes. Cant wait to get to know some of you and looking forward to listening and finding out all the great advice anyone has to offer

This is the best support system, everyone is so nice and all the comments and posts are so helpful! I know it has helped me through this process. Being banded next week! Good luck! I know what you mean Cathy. I Felt like my lifeline had been cut. This site has been very helpful, we Bandsters are too new in this area to have a support group.
