I started using this app and love it. However It is not specifially geared twords WLS patients because there is no specific feature to choose. The most weight loss option is 2lbs per week. So for me it says my daily intake on calories should be 2310. I am on my 4th week getting my first fill today and starting the gym tomorrow. I am finding it hard to hit more than 1700 calories.I eat three meals mostly consiting of Cream Of Wheat, Cottage cheese, Tuna Fish,Egg Whites with cheese Fruit and some other stuff. I will be starting regular foods but I will stick to these healthy items as staples. I am going to buy poweder for my Protein but also keep my fridge stocked with Coscto Protein shakes in case I need some extra protein. So the app... Its great for counting the calories, carbs, protein and Vitamin intake but I think the calories might be off for WLS people ( 2310 seems very high for me) vs the average Joe.
Any thoughts?
