Slow Weight Loss/Constipation

I had my surgery October 12th and I still have some gas. The pain in my shoulder finally went away!! Whew! But I feel constipated. I moved my bowels only once since surgery. I must say I feel great!!! Since the surgery I have lost 10lbs but now I'm on the stage III diet (pureed only) and it seems like my weight loss has stopped or slowed down. Is this normal? <a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wSt8FyV/">

I just told this to another poster. I had a probiatic, FF yogurt and I was going before it was finished.

Increase your fiber. If you really feel stuck, I took Miralax. I had a big issue and ended up in the ER and that was ok'ed. Before starting any new meds I would consult your surgeons office.

Thanks everyone for your advice! Hopefully I will lose more weight soon.

Make sure you are drinking enough water. A lot of people overlook this as a cause for constipation. I definitely notice that if I haven't had enough water for the day, things aren't "moving along" as they should.
