  1. I had my surgery 10/12/2012. Almost a year ago! Can't beleive time went so fast! Anyway, I have been having some problems keeping my food down at night. Sometimes when I am sleeping I wake up choking and coughing up mucus or food. Am I eating too late and laying down too soon? Do I need another fill or should I get my band loosend? I am going to the Dr on September 6th. If anyone has had this problem please help! Thanks!
  2. Maybe you are right. It may not be acid reflux. I wonder what it could be?
  3. I was banded on 10/12/2011. I am due for my 4th fill in two weeks. I have been having alot of acid reflux and some vomiting. When I eat it seems like my food gets stuck in my espophogus and will not move down. This hurts really bad! During surgery I had my hiatal hernia repaired. Not sure if it's from that or something else. When I swallow my food it will not move. And when I vomit I have more mucus than food coming out. I take Prilosec every morning. I try to eat slow but sometimes get a little to anxious and eat too quickly! Is my band too tight? Is there anything I can do or change to prevent this from happening?
  4. I had my surgery on 10/12/11. So far everything has been good The only problem I'm having is that I have been a eating a little more than usual. At times I over eat, I sometimes eat too fast as well and I feel my port get a little hard. Is that normal? I'm due for my 2nd fill on 1/19/12.
  5. Yesterday I had my first fill. My surgery date was October 12th I was originally scheduled on December 1st for my first fill. Because of the holidays they scheduled it yesterday. The problem I'm having is that I did not eat yesterday at all. Then I went on clear liqueds untill today. Since then I have been feeling nauseated and have no appetite. I did try to eat a peice of toast this morning and feel a little better. I have a problem eating three meals a day. I don't feel hungry and end up eating once a day but I include my shakes as well. Is it normal for me to feel nauseated after my fill? Please help?
  6. My surgery went well. Didn't tolerate the pain very well and had a little issue with my BP. I also did not expect to have so much gas. Not sure why I have this appointment, but i guess I will find out on Thursday.
  7. I am 3 weeks post op. I had my surgery on 10/12. I have an appointment on 11/3 and I went last week for my first follow up on 10/20. I'm not due for my first fill for another 3 weeks. What should I expect at the second visit post op?

  9. I had my surgery October 12th and I still have some gas. The pain in my shoulder finally went away!! Whew! But I feel constipated. I moved my bowels only once since surgery. I must say I feel great!!! Since the surgery I have lost 10lbs but now I'm on the stage III diet (pureed only) and it seems like my weight loss has stopped or slowed down. Is this normal? <a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wSt8FyV/"> <img border="0" src="http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/wSt8FyV/weight
