Can't Hold It Down!

I had my surgery 10/12/2012. Almost a year ago! Can't beleive time went so fast! Anyway, I have been having some problems keeping my food down at night. Sometimes when I am sleeping I wake up choking and coughing up mucus or food. Am I eating too late and laying down too soon? Do I need another fill or should I get my band loosend? I am going to the Dr on September 6th. If anyone has had this problem please help! Thanks!

That is a classic sign of your band being too tight. I'd get into your doctor much sooner than September 6th.

Best wishes.

How close to going to be are you eating? My doctor told me not to lay down for at least 30min to and hour after eating, that it would cause reflux issues. If you are waiting a decent enough time you are likely to tight.

Sounds like a good question for your surgeon or nutritionist?

i would say you maybe a bit too tight... when i had a slight unfill last month the dr asked me the very same things you just mentioned here as suffering from.
