Surgery friday....freaking out

I am so scared :( I just all the sudden got scared. I think I am scared I won't wake up. I've had two c-sections and a gall bladder out in three years, you'd think I would be used to surgery, but I am not. What if I have some undetected heart condition and die while under!?

Where is all this anxiety coming from?

Did u have to do a chest xray the day of your surgery? Where did u have your surgery? I have mine this Friday at Tri city medical region in hawaiian gardens. I'm scared something will come up to make them cancel ny surgery.

Please don't fret.sad.gif You sound like me - I had 2 C-Sections and my Gall bladder removed but in 6 years. I was banded on Oct 25, 2011 and I am up and kicking, feeling great and so will you. smile.giftongue.gifcool.gif

Nope they didn't do one until after they took the breathing tube out and I couldn't breath lol. That's where they saw the partial collaspe. I had, had a cold for a couple of weeks.

I have had other surgeries and I am not too concerned. With all the pre-op appointments I am pretty sure that my surgeon knows if I am healthy enough to have this 45 minute procedure or not. They have checked all my abdominal organs, blood work, lungs, stomach and even checked for blood clots. That is more testing than the other two surgeries that I have had in the past.
