Just got a call from my plastic surgeon's office. He's agreed to do both the Tummy Tuck and breast reduction at the same time. He had previously said no, as it will be alot of pain/healing, but when I explained that a) my parents are visiting and will be able to help around the house and :) I'd rather get the pain over with in one go, he agreed to do it.

So I go in on 10 March for my final consult with him, then the surgery is on 03 April. Already starting to get the jitters lol, as I did preband about not waking up from surgery .. but that's normal *shrugs*

I'll make sure to take several full body shots before hand this time, so that I can do a proper before and after.

I've still got 6.5kgs to go til goal, but surely I can do that before the surgery date. Now I just have to quit smoking. Anyone wanna join me? :bananapowerslide:

Oh I'm so jealous....I so want to get to the point I"m ready for my Tummy Tuck. You are going to look GREAT. I'm so excited for you. My PS I had a consult with a couple of years ago said he wouldn't do both at the same time....it's nice to know I might be able to beg and plead a surgeon to do both at the same time. Though I don't need a reduction (not sure any of them will be left by then, but will defeintly need them re hung and maybe reflated.

Wow, that's a big decision. I dont reckon you looked like you needed much work, but we all hide a few secrets under our clothes, lol.

It's only half a kilo a week or so, you can do that. Maybe shake something around with your gym and eating routine, that might help with a quick loss.

Now the smoking, never been a smoker so I cant imagine how hard that must be but you do NOT want your nipples to fall off. That ought to be incentive.

So happy for you deciding to check in and go through with PS. I so want to and will deffinatly need to ...the sight of my saggy skin just makes me nauses. Me and hubby have talked about me getting a Tummy Tuck and my boobies done and every time I mention it he looks scared to death.. you would think he would like to get a new set of ninnies to play with at the least LOL!!!! I think its the money that scares him...along with the recovery time!! Anyway definatly take before and afters.... I'm curious to see the difference. Good luck to you and congrats on seeing a new you after PS. Flat tummy here you come!!

Jamie, I have the opposite problem. My husband bitches and moans about $11 for an eyebrow wax and just about has heart failure everytime I get my grey hairs coloured, yet he's just about saved every penny for the boob job at the end. I'm not even sure I want to have one (whether I need it or not), but he seems set on the idea!

I quit smoking three and a half years ago. That's how I financed the Harley. And I'm wondering if Jess' B&A pics will be nakies. What better way to judge the proficiency of the plastic surgeon?

LOL .. semi .. enough to show what was done.

Thanks everyone! I'm so very excited right now. I spent all evening yesterday surfing through breast reduction before and after pictures, trying to find a "set" I liked lol, to show the surgeon. I wish there was a catalogue or something I could choose from rofl. I can't wait to be able to go into any ole shop and pick out a bra and panty set that's cute and fits!!!

Princess n Thep, HarleyNana and I all are all rather fond of this style. Think anyone would notice if we all had the same boobies?

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
