I like the South Beach bars. You can get them at Wal-Mart. I like the chocolate & PB & the chocolate fudge. They are kind of like rice crispies that are flavored & then the bottom is dipped in chocolate. & they are high in protein.

I like the Atkins Advantage bars, but the ones I buy don't say anything about low-carb. They have 21 g of protein and 10 g of fiber, without a lot of sugar. My faves are chocolate peanut butter, mocha crunch, smores, and a couple of others. I don't like the granola flavors, they're too painfully sweet.

Hey, John. I LOVE Zone Perfect bars...especially Fudge Graham. They have 16 g. protein, and taste great. I am not sure about the carbs. The hard part is remembering they are a MEAL REPLACEMENT, and not to be eaten inbetween meals. For you, though, you need a few more calories because of how hard you work-out. You might throw a couple in during the day, or before you exercise...see how it works. Try them. They are good.

The chocolate/peanut butter ones remind me of a desert my mom used to make called "Special K Bars". This is what I have for Breakfast every morning - I love them.

I also like the Atkin's Chocolate/Peanut Butter bars, and the Almond Brownie ones. Most of the Atkin's flavors leave me cold, but these two are better than most. They make a nice change for me sometimes.

Doctor's CarbRite Diet Bars are delicious. They are packed with Protein and delicious. You can order them on line or call around to your health stores to see if they carry them. Yummyy all the flavors are good.

I buy the Balance bars. They are decent in taste and have about 15 grams of prorein and 23 grams of carbs. Not ideal, but not bad either. Best of all, I find them at my 99 cent Only Store! I buy about twenty at a time!

by Protein Bar, I'm assuming you are looking for a snack/meal replacement with 20 - 25g of protein. Appex makes some very good products, especially the "Cookies." Very healthly and quite tasty.

Also, if you like(d) Snickers, go to a local GNC and try the "Nitro-Tech" bar. They have a flavor that is as close to snickers as I've seen. You MUST get them fresh because they don't sit well on the self and will start to liquify. Best "health" bar out there when its fresh. They usually sell in singles so you can try a couple of flavors.

I also like the Worldwide Sports Pure Protein Bar in the Stawberry flavor

I eat the Balance carb control bars too. Chocolate & peanut butter or chocolate & caramel. They don't keep me full for very long though.

Luna bars = GROSS!

I like the high Protein slimfast peanut granola - yummy! I also would like to mention my other high protein favorites that have no been mentioned - KASHI - I have only tried one flavor so far and it was delightful! KASHI - Go Lean series packs a good 13g protein and 6g of Fiber.
