Lost weight on vacation! A first

I am just back from a 5 day vacation. We ate out every meal. I tried to make semi wise choices but was far from perfect (do you hear margaritas??). I lost 4 lbs. I was shocked. I expected to be up.

I am beginning to like this band.

That's great! Perhaps it was an active vacation? I lose weight when we go to Disney.....all the walking. LOVE IT!

Great! I just did the same thing! I had a great time letting loose on vacation and thought for sure I would be upset when I got on the scale at home... I not only gave in to the margaritas, but the chocolate cake too! I was shocked to find out I was 5 pounds lighter when I got back! I guess I didn't eat as badly as I thought. I'm definitely thanking my band right about now!

Same for me. We were on vacation for over 2 weeks and lost 4-5 pounds. I ate TONS on vaca but we also walked a lot. I was so happy (and surprised) with the results.

sometimes it is good to shock your system and change things up. I went backpacking for 2 weeks in Asia last year and ate different things good and bad and lost 3 kg in 2 weeks. I couldn't believe it!
