Since my un-fill last month, I notice that whenever I eat or drink I have a gurgling sound in my chest/band area. I assume this where the band is doing its thing.

Does anyone else have this? People swear they don't hear it, but I was in a workshop yesterday and it sounded so loud to me...It almost sounds like I am burping inside. LOL

Yes I do the same thing. Mostly after I eat I can hear and feel the food moving down into my stomache. HAHA My kids think it's funny. I've learned to ignore it.

I only have the gurgling noises when I'm too tight. I recently had 2 small unfills and all my bizarre noises have gone away. I seem to be just the opposite of what you are describing, since this just started for you after your unfill. Could you still be a little tight? I know I was thrilled when my strange nosies stopped. I always felt like an alien creature was living in my stomach!

They unfilled me b/c I was having reflux. I did not have the noises before that. I am annoyed b/c I was losing really well too. I have been on all types of meds/steroids since the unfill and have been eating horribly. I go today and am afraid to mention the gurgling.....

It's a sign of restriction. My doctor didn't liked it a lot but as long i am careful with my band he thinks it is ok.I dont have it everyday, but experience has showed me that the days i can hear it are the days i must be extra careful.I chew a lot and i never never drink 30 minutes before and after.I have to admit it's kind of fun to feel it though

Just came from doc. As soon as I mentioned the gurgling the PA gave me a prescription for an Upper GI series. Could just be too tight or could mean slippage. UGH

My principal is gonna love this if I need revision surgery. He is suck a a$$hole.

If I have a little gas and am eating something, the food goes down through the band and air comes out at the top when the food is down, making a funny noise.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
