Our BBQ today was GREATTTTttttttttttttttt...I am so tired ...I DID over eat a little and suffered for it for about 30mins ...spat up a little , I didn`t really eat much 1 lamb cutlet some bean salad, a spoon of potato bake so I am thinking it may have just been I didn`t chew enough.....later on I had a loverly slice of Passionfruit cheese cake some nice fruit from a fruit platter but no dinner , just not hungry...Watched the biggest looser and did a bit of clean up off to bed now I wish it was a holiday tomorrow I have work chores to do and I don`t feel like doing them ...lol...

I hope everyone had a great weekend ....Hugs and Goodnight ....

Hey Marion! sounds like you had a busy weekend! Yikes! Well, sorry you had a little "stuck" incident, but I heard that we all must go through that. I will admit, I am NOT looking forward to THAT!

Saw my nurse pract. yesterday at my Weight Loss center. She was impressed that I've jumped through so many hoops already! ha ha. my next appt with with dietitian and then medical director to clear me for seeing the surgeon! I have to admit..I got a bit daunted by the fact that it looks like it's coming quicker than I thought!

But then I hear your stories, how you just are living your "banded" life, with what seems like "ease" (I know it's not always easy) and I can't tell you how much hope and good feelings it gives me!! Just had to let you know!!! You are quiet an inspiration!

Hope you are having a restful day, sounds like you deserve it! Take good care and keep up the GREAT work!

Tracy

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
