It's been raining since 8 this morning! not heavy, but that perfect romantic mist;) so I put on my coat, took my umbrella and went for a nice stroll around my community. It felt SO GOOD!!!! Now I'm gonna eat my lunch: chicken leg, 1/2 carrots, small garlic, small salt and pepper slowly cooked.2cups of fresh spinach. put the whole thing in my food processor and strained it. now I have a yummy soup!!!

Just thought I would share with all of you newbies..tonight I baked a cake (hubs bday)and iced it and served it to my family and I didnt feel left out at ALL!..Don't give into junk food.

Day two of PreOp liquid diet was better than day one, but I am still miserable. I feel like a drug addict being forced to get clean

Went and got some healthy food today, ground turkey, frozen fish, tuna fish, greek yogurt. Trying to stay as low carb as I can!

I started eating solids early about my 3rd week and trust me I have learned trial & error. Honestly, I was tired of eating the same things. I almost went on strike to eat nothing at all because of the same foods. I am eating low calorie foods such as healthy choice & lean cuisine. I can only eat half of the servings.

o starting week 5 soft food, had a one egg omelet, and warm protein mocha for breakfast (ok I ate 1/2 of the 1 egg omelet) Still working on getting protein in and water, eating slowly and listening to feeling full! I am a work in progress

Nearing 2 weeks out. Eating most foods. Getting in approx 67g protein & 34-48 oz fluids. Plan to weigh myself every Monday.

I have been on a full liquid diet since 9/3, due to this leak. Monday the dr. said I can start soft foods ... but I am scared. How ironic is that? lol... I've gotten used to this routine (and hey my weight's dropped well as well). So now what? Sigh.... I made goal (woo hoo)! 149.5, boo yeah!

Sleeved on Tuesday. Other than horrible nausea from the anesthesia, I feel fine, just tired. I am finding creative ways to puree foods to eat. The famiiy had pizza tonight and I just went to another room. My biggest surprise is that although I had a big sweet-tooth (my weakness), I am sick of all the sweet drinks and crave chicken soup or other non-sweet things. The surgeon was pleased I was a compliant pre-op patient and had lost weight on Optifast. Do most people struggle and cheat on...
